HKIESG MISSIONS

The Hong Kong Institute of Environmental, Social and Governance (HKIESG) is a non-profit organization founded in September 2024. Its mission is to enhance stakeholders’ awareness and understanding regarding Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles across all industry sectors in Hong Kong.

Here are the key missions of the Institute:

  2. Establish and Uphold ESG Standards: The Institute is committed to setting and maintaining high ESG standards throughout Hong Kong. It acts as a consultant, offering guidance to organizations on how to incorporate ESG considerations into their operations.
  3. Develop an ESG Ecosystem: The Institute is focused on building a robust ESG ecosystem that encourages collaboration among diverse stakeholders, including businesses, investors, policymakers, and civil society. This ecosystem promotes knowledge sharing, innovation, and positive impact.
